A Dad is a person
who is loving and kind,
And often he knows
what you have on your mind.

He’s someone who listens,
suggests, and defends.
A dad can be one
of your very best friends!

since you and i been apart
feel sad, had a broken heart,
fought thru misery to push the rain away
for the sun will emerge to reign for brighter days;

tried to hang out with friends
enjoy life and laugh with them,
when everybody is gone and leavin’
here comes the pain and teardrops again…

There are times when only a Mother’s love
Can understand our tears,
Can soothe our disappoints
And calm all of our fears.

There are times when only a Mother’s love
Can share the joy we feel
When something we’ve dreamed about
Quite suddenly is real.
